“We are NOT subject matter experts”
Being generalists, we are constantly switching gears and exploring new ideas and sectors. So much of our work is reliant on us thinking ahead of our current moment or making connections that aren’t obvious. This often doesn’t take the form of clean, easily digestible deliverables (though we do that too!). Here’s a glimpse into the ever evolving mind that is OSB.
On our mind: Behavioral science
Behavioral science is the study of human decision-making and is based on research in the fields of psychology and economics. In innovation, understanding human behavior becomes paramount to creating impactful solutions that resonate with the end-user. Read our series where we explore more on the subject.
Sustainability
Climate Change is arguably the greatest threat we face at this moment. How we respond to it across all sectors - corporate, government, community, personal, etc - has been top of mind for us at OSB lately. Take a look at some of our thoughts on the subject.
open innovation
Public health innovation
2020 made it glaringly obvious that public health touches every aspect of our world. How can we take that insight and work towards breaking down silos to better safeguard our futures? With our unique roots in public health, we felt particularly drawn to exploring, highlighting, and communicating what the current and future of public health could look like.
